DEWA provides electricity and water to Dubai properties. To have your Dubai home connected you will need to go along to DEWAs customer service hall and fill in an application form. Thereafter, you must submit the completed application along with a copy of your tenancy agreement/proof of ownership and a refundable deposit of Dhs 1000-2000.
When this is done, you will receive a receipt stating the deposit has been paid along with a date when your Dubai home will be connected to electricity and water. Tap water is safe to drink but many people choose to have bottled water delivered to their Dubai properties.
